We've often passed The Tyndrum Inn on our travels, and being the closest (and only) place open on boxing day we decided to stop for lunch on our way home. It's a very intimate place with spacious seating & and an unreal selection of alcohol (lots of traveller tastes to cater for). We ordered 2 turkey Christmas dinners & blimey did we get value. The strips of turkey were like steaks (all 6 of them). 3 balls of stuffing, plenty of veg & gravy etc. Pigs in blankets were a tad overdone but this wasn't much, the meal was excellent. The barman is very well mannered & seems the type of guy everybody would get along with. We will DEFINITELY be back in the summer of 2025. Keep up the great work.

We stopped by for a bite to eat on Boxing Day on our way home. We were served by a very nice American guy behind the bar,who was very chatty and helpful. We both ordered a Turkey Christmas Dinner. We were served promptly, and the food was absolutely delicious. There was so much of it that neither of us could eat it all. The only tiny complaint was that it was a bit cold in the bar, and being winter, I hoped it would be warmer. We will definitely eat here again.

Visited the tyndrum inn for food did not stay over.Friendly staff. Served good food. We tried the haggis pakora for starters which was really nice. Steak pie for mains and chicken bhuna with rice. Very good portions. 👍🍽️

Roast chicken dinner was excellent. Half a chicken is a lot of chicken. Pity I couldn't eat all of it.

Had a great diner here with a Good and smiling service. Place is nice with good atmosphere. There was an halloween party i. The pub but couldn’t stay. Though the atmosphere looked grear!

I booked a single room. It was the smallest room I have ever had, but no complaints. Ensuite facilities with an excellent shower. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was huge and delicious. The service was efficient and very friendly. The bar is busy but has plenty of room. The beer and whisky of the day was good. The bar staff were great. Bar food came in good-sized portions for hungry Highland Way walkers, but unremarkable quality.

Didn't stay here but did use it for our evening meal whilst walking the west highland way. The bar guys were super friendly and helpful. We had fish and chips which I have to say is probably the best fish and chips i have ever had and prices were so reasonable.for the amount you get!!! So fresh! Followed by sticky toffee pudding and custard, which was divine after a long day hiking. Definitely a must stop along your way!!!

Stopped here for lunch as we hiked the West Highland Way. Enormous portion of fish & chips! The fish was so fresh and it was delicious! Excellent service. Highly recommend.

The food at best was mediocre, followed up by the stone faced woman who gave us our menus, I've never seen anyone more unhappy as a server ever, we were told to order at the bar which is fine, but the person who took the order ballsed it up and we only received 2 of the 3 meals ordered, it wasn't even busy at the time, wouldn't recommend this place at all. Seriously, should have grabbed a sandwich at a petrol station would have been better value for money

This bathtub saved me on our day of lowest morale on the WHW. Lovely deep tub, long enough to fully stretch my legs out. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff had brought our bags from the baggage service up to our room already, which was a thoughtful touch. Bar was busy and the bartenders all good naturedly brusque. Food was standard pub fare, quick, hot and tasty.

Lovely friendly staff, especially the young lady from Doncaster who supports Wednesday. Good Guinness too. Great place for a bevvy if you're parked up in the car park for the night.

Have been in here a few times in the past for a drink decided to have lunch today instead of our usual visit to the real food cafe across the road, couldn't fault the fish and chips and the haggis neeps and tatties were first class, that creamy whisky sauce mmm 10/10 for the grub!

Ate lunch here and was satisfied overall. Huge portions, my zucchini soup was very good and my wife enjoyed her meal. My only issue is that there was entirely too much breading on my fish and chips dish. I had to pick about 2/3rds of it off. The service was very good.

Stopped at a nearby campsite and went here for a meal. This place is busy due to it's location being on the West Highland Way route. Regardless of that service was very good and the food was delicious. Portion size made it good value for money. The beverage selection was excellent and the beer well kept. For your entertainment Sky Sports t.v, darts board and pool table. Behaved dogs are also welcome. Would definitely re-visit 👍👌

Rooms are really small, the toilet even smaller and you need to manoeuvre awkwardly around to not simultaneously bump into the toilet door, the towel rail, the sink and the shower door. Toilet door cannot lock nor close and keeps popping open so beware if you’re sharing with a friend. Room has extra blankets so you won’t be cold. Would be good if we could have more hangers in the room as there was only 3 for 2 people. Food is not bad, though there is a bit of false advertising with the “smashed avocado” looking more like puree from a tub (see pic). But the staff are really nice and service is good!
